RGBrgb(44, 72, 214)
HSLhsl(230, 67%, 51%)
HSVhsv(230, 79%, 84%)
CMYKcmyk(79%, 66%, 0%, 16%)

CMYK is a mathematical conversion. For print, ask your printer for their color profile — real inks can't reproduce every screen color.

How to use the Color Converter

  1. Paste a color in any format, or pick one.
  2. Copy the format you need.

What does this tool do?

The converter recognises HEX (#f60, #ff6600), rgb(), hsl() and cmyk() notation. Conversions use the standard sRGB formulas used by browsers and design tools.

Why use it?

  • Translate designer specs into CSS.
  • Move colors between apps.
  • Check brand colors across formats.

Example

hsl(24, 100%, 50%) = #FF6600 = rgb(255, 102, 0) = cmyk(0%, 60%, 100%, 0%).

Accuracy and limits

  • CMYK here is a mathematical conversion. Printed colors depend on the printer, inks and paper; ask your printer for their ICC profile for accurate results.

Privacy

Everything you type is processed in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers or stored by us. There's no account to create and nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my CMYK color look different when printed?

This conversion uses the standard formula without printer color profiles. Real print results depend on the paper, ink and printer, so ask your printer for their profile or a proof for color-critical work.

Can it convert to Pantone colors?

No. Pantone colors are proprietary physical inks, and there's no exact formula between them and screen colors. Use Pantone's own guides for matching.
