Common mistakes
- Using PNG for photo-heavy pages. The files get large; PDF to JPG suits photos better.
- Choosing 72 DPI for text you need to read. Small text turns blurry — use 150 DPI or more.

Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The PDF is processed inside your browser with open-source PDF libraries. It never leaves your device, which makes this safe for contracts, statements and IDs.
Can I use a password-protected PDF?
Not yet. Open it in your PDF reader, remove the password (or print it to a new PDF), then use the tool.
Why is the PNG bigger than the PDF?
A PDF stores text as letters and fonts, while a PNG stores every pixel. A page of text can be a few kilobytes in a PDF but hundreds of kilobytes as an image.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Type the pages, such as “2, 4-6”, or leave the box empty for every page. Several pages can be downloaded together as a ZIP.
