Sentiment Analyzer

Estimate the tone of reviews, comments or feedback — overall and sentence by sentence.

Use it as often as you like — it's free, with no sign-up and no limits.

Runs locally with statistical language methods — no AI model or server is involved. It uses a word-score dictionary with handling for negation (“not good”) and intensifiers (“very good”), so it can miss sarcasm and context.

How to use the Sentiment Analyzer

  1. Paste the text.
  2. See the overall tone and score.
  3. Scan the sentence-by-sentence breakdown.

What does this tool do?

The analyzer uses a sentiment dictionary that scores common words from −3 (very negative) to +3 (very positive). It handles negation (“not good” counts as negative) and intensifiers (“very good” counts more), then normalises the score by length.

Why use it?

  • Get a quick read on batches of feedback.
  • Find the negative sentences in a long review.
  • Check the tone of your own email before sending.

Example

“The delivery was fast and the staff were really friendly, but the product arrived broken.” — positive words (fast, friendly) and a negative one (broken) give a mildly positive overall score, with the last clause flagged negative.

Accuracy and limits

  • Dictionary methods can't detect sarcasm or context (“great, another delay”). Treat results as a rough signal.

Privacy

Everything you type is processed in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers or stored by us. There's no account to create and nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions

Does this use ChatGPT or another AI model?

No. It uses statistical language techniques that run in your browser. Your text isn't sent to any AI service, and the tool doesn't generate new text.

Can it detect sarcasm?

No. A dictionary-based approach reads “Great, another delay” as positive. Sarcasm, irony and context-dependent language need human judgement or a much larger language model.
