JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or AVIF · processed on your device

Use a square image of at least 512 × 512 px for the sharpest icons. SVG logos work best when converted to PNG first.

Your files are processed entirely in your browser using built-in web technologies. They are not uploaded to our servers, and closing the page clears them from memory.

How to use the Favicon Generator

  1. Choose a square logo or image (512 px or larger works best).
  2. Adjust padding, corners and background.
  3. Download the ZIP.
  4. Upload the files to your site's root and paste the HTML into your <head>.

What does this tool do?

Browsers, phones and search results use different icon sizes. The pack includes favicon.ico (with 16, 32 and 48 px versions inside), PNG favicons, a 180 px Apple touch icon, 192 and 512 px icons for Android, and a web manifest.

Non-square images are center-cropped so they aren't squashed.

Why use it?

  • One upload, every size.
  • Correct ICO built in your browser.
  • Ready-to-paste HTML.

Does Google show favicons?

Yes, next to your site name in mobile and desktop results. Google asks for a square icon of at least 48 × 48 px at a stable URL, which this pack provides.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device, which is why it works even on a slow connection.

How do I add the favicon to my website?

Upload the files to your site's root folder and add the link tags from the pack to your page's <head>. Browsers may cache old favicons for a while, so try a private window to see the change.
