What does this tool do?

CVs for Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC commonly run two to three pages and include a professional photo plus personal details: nationality, Iqama or visa status (and whether it's transferable), marital status, driving licence and when you can start. Arabic and English proficiency should be stated clearly.

For Saudi roles, mention Saudization (Nitaqat) eligibility if relevant, and highlight GCC experience and recognised certifications. Keep the layout clean so applicant tracking systems can read it. Your CV is saved in this browser only — nothing is uploaded, and there's no sign-up or watermark.

Why use it?

  • Opens in the GCC format.
  • Personal-details section built in.
  • Photo crop and positioning.
  • Free and private.

Frequently asked questions

Do Saudi CVs need a photo?

A professional photo is customary across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, though not always mandatory. Include one unless the employer says otherwise.

Should I include my Iqama status?

Yes — for candidates already in the Kingdom, Iqama status and whether it's transferable are among the first things recruiters check.

How long should a Saudi CV be?

Two pages for most professionals and up to three for senior candidates with long careers.

Should my CV be in Arabic or English?

English is standard for most private-sector and multinational roles in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Government and some local employers may ask for Arabic; if you're bilingual, say so clearly in your Languages section.

Is this CV format the same for Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman?

Broadly yes — photo, nationality, visa status and availability are expected across the GCC. Adjust the visa wording to the country (residence permit, QID, civil ID) and keep a local phone number at the top.
